The Only Budgeting Method You Need To Worry About!
Today we’re talking about a gross 6 letter word that most people hate using. Nope, not moist. That’s 5 letters. I’m talking about a B-U-D-G-E-T. A budget.

  1. I really liked the $4,000 take-home example and how you walked through the four walls first before the personal categories. The part where the budget came out $58 over and you fixed it with a side hustle instead of just cutting everything was a great lesson. It also helped to hear that it can take about 90 days to get a budget dialed in and to keep going if a month does not go perfectly.

  2. The zero-based example really helped me understand it — income minus expenses should equal zero, not just roughly balance. I also liked the point about tracking spending all month and adjusting a line item instead of giving up when one bill comes in higher.

  3. 31.5% income taxes on 70,000? That math ain't mathin. Even if you're at 18% state and 10% federal (which are both high end), that's not mathing. What am I missing?

  4. I was staring at a negative bank balance wondering how I let groceries put me in overdraft. I thought budgeting meant misery, but finding a practical framework changed everything. Massive thanks to Simon L. Heater for breaking it down without the fluff and teaching me how to actually keep what I earn. Life-changing shift.

  5. Honestly, watching this video hit home. Coming from a background where we literally counted pennies just to buy groceries, I never thought financial freedom was an option. A few years ago, I diversified into a mix of blue-chip stocks, Bitcoin, bonds, and selected altcoins, and it completely changed my family's trajectory. Balancing a regular 9-to-5 while letting compound interest and strategic crypto swings work in the background is the real cheat code for building generational wealth that lasts well into retirement. Anyone can do this if they stop letting fear run the show. Would love to hear your thoughts on how you're balancing your portfolio right now?

  6. Zero-based budgeting finally clicked for me with this video. Giving every dollar a job before the month starts takes so much stress out of spending. The part about planning for irregular expenses like car maintenance was the piece I was missing.

  7. I really liked the interview you did with Sir Arthur C. Brooks, and I've been watching other videos of yours because of it, but these seem less honest — more filler, lots and lots of ads, with less actual content. It's a bit disappointing, tbh 😮‍💨

  8. Investing in your twenties is the best decision anyone can make for their future. I started very late but I stayed consistent too and now I am doing very well for myself and bought my first house recently. Thanks for putting us on to Alison Frances Willig in one of your videos she’s really been helpful in my journey.
